This policy covers junkyardnavigator.com, run by Crisp Point Studio LLC. In short: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, we don't sell personal information, and we only collect what you choose to send us.
What we collect
- Visit counts. When you view a page or click Call, Website, Directions or a partner offer, we record the page, the yard, the type of click and the kind of site you came from (for example "search" and the search engine's name). We don't record your IP address, set cookies or build a profile of you. A small flag in your browser's storage stops the same page view being counted twice in one visit.
- Forms. If you send a listing update or claim, we store what you enter (name, email, optional phone, relationship to the yard and your message) and email it to ourselves so we can review it. We use it only to check and apply the update and to reply to you.
- Email. If you email us, we keep the message to reply to you.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts the site and, like any web host, keeps short-lived server logs.
- Supabase stores visit counts and form submissions. Resend delivers the form notification emails to us.
- OpenStreetMap map tiles and the Leaflet map library load when you scroll to a map, which means your browser contacts those servers.
- Google Maps opens only if you click Directions.
- Affiliate partners. If you click a partner offer, the partner and its network (such as Awin) may set their own cookies to credit the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Your choices
You can browse without sending us anything. To ask what we hold about you, or to have a form submission deleted, email listings@junkyardnavigator.com. The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
